CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Can gym program: 6 years +

PAGA follows the Can Gym program for recreational gymnastics. Each of the 14 different levels is progressively more challenging. Children learn the basic fundamentals of gymnastics through a wide range of activities.

Beginner classes boys and girls

  • 1 hour in length.
  • 6 years and up.
  • Burgundy, Red and Tan Badge
  • Family and Friends are invited to view on specified watch weeks from the designated area.
  • Children/siblings not enrolled are not permitted in the gym unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Intermediate class

  • 1 ½ hours in length.
  • Must have completed Tan Badge.
  • Bronze, Blue, and Purple Badge
  • Family and Friends are invited to view on specified watch weeks from the designated area.
  • Children/siblings not enrolled are not permitted in the gym unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian

Advanced class

  • 4hours/week
  • Recommendation or try-out required
  • Family and Friends are invited to view on specified watch weeks from the designated area.
  • Children/siblings not enrolled are not permitted in the gym unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian

Boys class

  • ages 6 and up
  • All boys apparatus
  • May lead to boys Advanced Program

Interclub-

  • ages 6 and up
  • showcase of routines and skills open to all paga recreational participants
  • this in addition to a scheduled class
  • routines and showcase prep for Mt. Arrowsmith Invitational March 12/13

Adult class

  • Strength and stretching
  • Basic gymnastics skills on bars, beam, floor, vault and trampoline

PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

All gymnastics equipment is used under the guidance of a certified gymnastics instructor. Using a wide variety of activities your child will have continuous benefits with many successes, challenges and discoveries. Our goal is to teach and explore the basic fundamentals of gymnastics.

Parent and Tot Classes

  • 45 minutes in length
  • Age 2 and up
  • Parents must accompany child
  • Parents are there to assist child under coach’s guidance
  • Children/Siblings not enrolled are not permitted in the gym
  • Certificate program

Pre-School Classes

  • Ages 3-5
  • 1 hour in length
  • Family and Friends are invited to view on specified watch weeks from the designated area
  • 4-level badge program

Advanced 5 & 6 years Class

  • Age 5 & 6
  • 1 hour in length twice per week
  • Coach recommendation required
  • Family and Friends are invited to view on specified watch weeks from the designated area
  • May lead to intermediate recreational program/ pre-competitive program
