PHILOSOPHY
The principle concern of the club is to develop the full inherent athletic, physical, and mental potential of each individual.
The club is dedicated to the development of young girls and boys, not only as masters of their discipline, but also as citizens who will assume leadership and will inspire others to reach the limits of individual potential.
All ability levels receive equal attention because of our structured program. An absolute beginner will get just as much out of training as a national competitor. Each level has its own emphasis. We do not feel that the goal of gymnastics is necessarily national level competition. Only a very few can attain that position. We feel that gymnastics has intrinsic values such as physical awareness, coordination, poise, sense of accomplishment and self-discipline, no matter what level a gymnast reaches!
GENERAL INFO
Class Description: Children learn using all gymnastics equipment under the guidance of a certified gymnastics instructor. Using a wide variety of activities for your child will have continuous benefits with many successes, challenges and discoveries. Our goal is to explore and teach the basic fundamentals of gymnastics.
To The Observer: Parents and spectators are welcome as observers for the first class and during designated watch weeks.
New Students: Placement in the proper class ensures safety and success for your child. In some cases the recreational director may feel that a child is not in the class best-suited for their skill level. In this case you may be asked to change to a more appropriate class.
Progress Reports: At the end of the term each child will receive a progress report.
